Well, that's not exactly correct, Jason. The U.S. does HUGE business--fucking bends over backwards in fact to do business--with communist China.

What this policy is supposed to be aimed at is not exporting the encryption, as someone said earlier, to states on the U.S. "watch list" which usually means they are support terrorism of some kind.
