Did you sign the offer and send it in?
An offer doesn't supercede a counter offer. Be clear on what happened, how money is a motivating factor for you to reconsider, but also how you're eager to not prolong the situation.
If you signed it and sent it to the new place, you can't really go back on that without burning bridges. Next time inform both parties about your intentions before signing anything.
