to not be a troll, i would say you need to widen your lens range. get something much more broad, and even consider a zoom.
if you can afford it, get a canon l series with a wide range and a small f...if you don't want to cough up the enormous cash for the l, grab something in the 28-200 field of an off-brand. you can get plenty of great lenses in that range for far cheaper than an l series canon.
