  Ive had my cats long enough now to know what the difference in their meows means.

  They have a lighter meow that has a purr sound mixed in with it which is just them telling me that are very happy.

  They have a louder, longer more annoying meow which means they want to eat.

  They have a shorter but still loud meow that sounds more like a duck quack which means they are in a playful mood.
