saw this thread today the first time.
when I was a kid our parents would hit of us if we misbehaved.
I was lucky as my parents only did that in extreme cases as they believed differently from that. other friends of mine were not that lucky.
I'm glad that society evolved (in some places) and that physical punishment is coming to an end.
but I also remember that we always respected older people.
now, you don't hit kids but kids disrespect and hit elderly people (not the case in the video).
I'm not trying to establish connections, it's just a thought as I'm wondering what's going wrong specially now that we have so much resources and information.
