@inteliboy of the current generation only the Wii generated profits from day one. Both the 360 and the PS3 were selling at a loss.
But it's a whole different thing, gaming consoles manufactures make money on every game sold for their systems. The 360 started to be profitable just 2 years after launch.
- A lot of people can buy these Nexus 7 and never pay a dime to Google for contenternexbcn
- Consoles also use the same hardware for 5-7 years. Each year it survives it gets cheaper to make.animatedgif
