    The airport wont connect to the network or you connect to the network and there is no internet connection.

    My old flat network had 2 pcs, and 4 macs on it, this happened to my gf becuase my router was a bit shit (poorly configured by me).

    You need to find out if this only happen on your network, it could be a duplicate ip addresses.
    try settings > network > advanced > tcp/ip
    note your iPv4 address,
    and click "renew DHCP lease" until the iPv4 address is different.

    try re-installing airport drivers and your router firmware.
