Been through it. We chose to use a mediator and do the divorce ourselves, rather than litigate. Attorneys are only there to complicate the process. They stir up shit on purpose, only to increase their billable hours. They're not at all interested in seeing anyone happy. If you can stand it, it's best to work on it together. We saved thousands of dollars.
There are many times when I can't stand the thought of her, but I'm sure the feelings are mutual. Life goes on. The best revenge is to make a life for yourself that totally kicks ass.
