I begged my parents for a GT Pro Performer. My dad went to the local bike shop, picked up an empty cardboard box (from a GT the shop had assembled) and put my rusted pos Ross in there (dismantled) and gave it to me for xmas.
Just a tip for future parents, getting your kid excited that he got the bike of his dreams for xmas only to open it and find a pile of shit is not an example of good parenting.
