You should be able to "learn to drive" in a day. brake & gas (clutch) if necessary. It's all about steering and braking. use the gas sparingly. cars don't stop just because you take your foot off the gas. no need to gas/brake gas/brake down the road. coast to stops gently braking over long distances, not immediately within proximity of the stop. be cautious of other cars, accepting of them even. the easiest way to pass a drivers test is by being a defensive driver. yes it's good you can parallel park and you remember your signals, but what they're really looking for is your confidence on the road, your alertness to the presence of distracted drivers and your ability to deal with them without impeding the flow of traffic.
