....How would someone even attempt to locate the source of the sound?....
Are you serious?
"Hey, Chief. I noticed that when we walk in this direction, the sound gets louder."
"I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me, Lou."
"Well, I know this is crazy, but hear me out. What if we walk in this direction, towards where the sound is coming from?"
"How would that help?"
"Well, back at the academy they taught us that sounds get louder as you get closer to the source."
"Seriously? I never heard of that."
"I didn't believe it either, but that's what they told us."
"So you're saying that if we walk towards the sound, we'll find the source?"
"I know. It's so crazy that it just might work."
"Well, we've been looking for this speaker for 6 months now. At this point, I'm ready to try just about anything."
