What kind of sounds are you wanting to play as that would depend on the type of speakers that you'd need.
If it's purely for bass then you'll need a decent sized enclosure to resonate it in.
If it's for music/sounds in general then you'll need a cabinet too.
If it's just high frequency stuff then you can get some tiny piezo tweeters that'll handle VERY loud output at a tiny size.
Rigging up a load of tweeters to an amp then playing the high pitch sounds that only people up to 20 year old (roughly) can hear is a nice deterrent to keep kids from playing in the street. mwhahah.
