    totally!

    Not only "we've done" but "we will continue to do them" it's part of the gig man. On my end I did years of 'infomercial' stuff for the motocross/ rv industries for tv. I will never show those to anyone of course, but it was a way for me to start learning after effects while getting paid, so I wouldn't change that.

    Sometimes the client can be very controlling and not open to have you make design suggestions. They want you to act like a tool. and the project usually ends up looking bad, but they are happy because they got what they wanted. Let them enjoy it!

    but make sure you get compensated accordingly, if you know a client is going to be difficult like that, you need to be making good enough money for you to be able to deal with the situation...
