    Finishing up my first year out of college as a designer at a small design firm. Only two of my classmates have sort-of design jobs, but I'm the only one with a full-time design job.

    Realize I'm incredibly naive and unexperienced. And broke. And single. Life could be better. I'm workin' on all of that. Just thankful to be here, I guess. Yep.

    • Single at 24 is fine. Late 20s is the best time to be single. I feel sorry for people who marry before 30.

    • Five years later (more experience) tells me that early 30s is the BEST time to be single. Even better than late 20s.
