    One page in and still no compelling argument.

    I think most people go through their design education/career without ever seriously considering this, Macs are part of the territory and it's what you learnt on. It's more about feel than fact.

    I used a PC in college and Photostudio 2000 for editing (!!), getting hold of Photoshop for the first time had a much bigger impact on my workflow and technical ability than switching over to Mac (that I did at the same time).

    I think the core differences - those that will show in the work or deeply affect your working day - are much smaller than people are presenting here.
