You never know what could happen with a well worded letter on a high priced firms letterhead. Often a simple letter won't actually cost you too much and you might not have to go any further.
Sounds like you could sue them for discrimination as well as wrongful termination.
Big $$$$$$$'s that will hurt them even if you end up giving the money to your lawyer's and your favourite causes.
