  And what about all the fantastic designers who use C*rgo and other such templated services? Does the fact that there are myriad similarly styled and organized designer portfolios do anything to denigrate their ability? I'm not sure I follow your argument here.

  If you don't have the coding chops to build a completely custom web experience then why is it 'inexcusable' to use a theme? At least she admitted she needed a better understanding of web coding.

  • I don't think it's 'inexcusable', but she passed it off as her own work. Which is silly and I'm sure she regrets.Andrew_D
