    I recall a theory by some blogger ( Brad Hicks) that all American
    subcultures from neopaganism and polyamory, cyberpunks, gamers and Linux users etc are in reality the same subculture, which has its origin in the history of science fiction conventions, and all of these subcultures are nothing but a way of socializing for people suffering from Asperger's syndrome

    I believe the Republican party is similar, like something that has been invented to keep the assholes busy. The greediest, poorest or richest, people who are preoccupied with money one way or the other, christians in the hand of an angry god, anxious fighters of pedophilia, people with other pathologies who are bitter in some way, short in stature, latent homosexuals etc, most intolerant etc, all of them are drawn to the right wing... I see no other explanations.
