My year of the dragon started well. A 2 week trip to Bali, started out all very luxury, then i decided to do a little backpacking...
I got a tropical virus.
Spent a day in hospital.
Didn't eat for 5 days during which,
Had my wallet, credit cards and iphone stolen.
Got the last of my cash extorted by the police i reported the theft to.
Then stranded on a remote island by a typhoon that's killed 10 people.
Slept on the floor of a harbor terminal.
Managed to get home by borrowing money off backpackers and taking a motor bike, a horse and cart, 5 taxi's, 2 trains, a mini bus and 4 aeroplanes in 1 day.feeling very alive now.
