My wife woke up one day recently and said 'I am now a vegan' - after she read 'The China Study'* so I adapted and have been cooking vegan at home.
I don't really miss meat but cheese is hard. That being said - you can make some really tasty food - you just have to look at different cookbooks and shop in different stores.
When I am not at home I do not adhere to veganism - I eat what I want.
But in general I think the world would be a better place if we stopped spending so many of our resources making meat.
*Chinese people who eat basically vegetables and a little fish are super healthy
- The China Study is very flawed, but if you're eating better, then that's reason itself. Similar story with me, mate, and my wife.mikotondria3
