    There is a reason for that. Both are lowbrow 'thèmes narratifs de base'. Shakespeare only seems to be highbrow retrospectively, and largely due to the expired vernacular and 16th century language which we consider 'exotic'. He was a gutter hack though, dramatising primal situations to the rabble in a language they would understand.

    A closer analogy would be between the dynamics of hip hop and ancient Greek theatre, which is of course the cultural pot that Shakey raped and pillaged to get his ideas.
