    TonyMacOSX86. You don't need a DVD reader.

    Unibeast (install latest OSX onto a USB drive), after installation run Multibeast and done.

    You will still "techno savvy mojo" because you will need to deal with your custom hardware running on OSX. Apple doesn't make drivers for many things and you will need to find things like:

    1. Your mobo DSDT files if possible
    2. Your graphic card kexts, Nvidia or ATI injectors and possibly modifying some kexts as well with values for your card.
    3. Find, audio, network/ethernet kexts as well or any 3rd party hardware you might have that's not supported by OSX.

    The best way is to build a machine from start that will be a perfect fit for an OSX. The other way around is going to require you to know how to modify certain things in order to make it work.
