i have worked in mainland china and taipei and hong kong.. their design offices are very similar to our own.. perhaps they employ triple the design staff compared to any NYC design studio.. i would say i am outside of your industry so posting links wouldnt help you much..
a lot of the companies are Taiwanese wealthy families who are the manufacturers for production of all products you probably purchase..
their day work hours are around the hours of 7am-11pm with mid morning break, lunch and dinner breaks. but generally they work more hours than you.
not sure what you really want to hear.. i worked in conditions that outshine the best of design studios and out disgusted the worst smelling hole on earth with their lack of anything.. heh.
oi.. i been to china 31 times in my career. i found Newstoday when i was in china.. thats how i met QBN.. looking for the news.. as everything there is blocked.. google, yahoo.. cnn .bbc.. all fucking blocked at least it was back then.. fucking crazy!!

- its an average day..also they usually work 6 days a week not 5. sometimes a full 7 days..e-pill
