  It's less, but not so as you'd notice instantly. The purchase was actually based on the desire for a more professional build: up top readout, weather sealed, etc. Image quality was already great on the K-x, the K-5 is better out of the box, but as was mentioned above - if you buy better glass, you'll experience significantly better photos.

  I've only had it for a week. Will report back with more, later.
