@D4W33D - it depends what area you're in. Things closer to the German and Belgium borders are getting more closed off. I can't imagine Amsterdam will do that considering tourism... but it's being discussed.
As for jobs. I work here, but I don't know the design industry well here. Although there are tons of small design shops and seems like there is work. Maybe poke around on Twitter for Appsterdam. It's an initiative around making Amsterdam the place to come and build applications. It's got a decent start of a community.
- nuthing happening on that front... till the coffeeshop owners get anything from the govmnt saying so, its business as usual .... border towns? thats another story...dconstrukt
