Dude, stop it with the Solyndra nonsense. It's bullshit. It was a private company that private sector investors took huge hits on. The government money came in only if free market thought it was a good idea, and they thought it was.
If you don't like government funding the energy sector ..I mean..fuck..what the hell do you think trillions of dollars for wars since 1991 have been the fuck about. What the hell do you think the government sibsidizing gas prices for decades has been about?
I bet you get all riled up with "WHat? Government better not raise the tax on my gallon of gas!" right?
How about "Gee, I giess government should get out of subsidising the petroleum industry and then the gas I pay will reflect real world free market values" huh? No? You like your government in your gas tank but a few $ outlay to maybe change the infrastructure and you get your little rightwing ignorant hardon huh?
