    Get Xampp (free) and run a local version of Wordpress.

    - Download your current sites database (export wordpress)
    - Install Wordpress Locally
    - Import your database
    - Install and run your new theme, in your new local dev environment.

    • it's pretty easy, and the fastest way to develop WP stuff.

    • I just did this on my new machine and the whole thing was less than 25 minutes work.
