Don't go to scenic places - go to interesting places.
Scenic places are invariably a hassle to get to, when you get there you spend an hour looking at the view/the mountiain/the waterfall/the cliff/the lake etc, There's always tacky shops selling the same shit you get everywhere else but with 'the thing' printed on. The food's expensive, then you have to get all the way back.
Interesting is like, Amsterdam before they restrict the coffee shops, or going clubbing in Berlin for 4 days straight.- <-- miserable twat.mikotondria3
- I like both types of travel. Interesting I know how to find. Scenic, cheap resorts I am less familiar with.nb
