If you had to plan a trip to South America, Caribbean, Mexico, etc, where would you go?
I'd like to find something that is the best for photography, as I like to shoot while I travel. Most scenic, or most interesting.
Also, cheap accommodations and easy travel would be nice. Not really looking for adventure.
for the Caribbean, I love Barbados. everything about it. the scenery, the people, the food...
I think of the three choices, South America. Never been there, but you've got beaches, mountains, snow, rainforests, etc. Chile looks beautiful.
Argentina has every type of scenic feature, glaciers, beaches, mountains. Screens awesome.
Don't go to scenic places - go to interesting places.
Scenic places are invariably a hassle to get to, when you get there you spend an hour looking at the view/the mountiain/the waterfall/the cliff/the lake etc, There's always tacky shops selling the same shit you get everywhere else but with 'the thing' printed on. The food's expensive, then you have to get all the way back.
Interesting is like, Amsterdam before they restrict the coffee shops, or going clubbing in Berlin for 4 days straight.

- I like both types of travel. Interesting I know how to find. Scenic, cheap resorts I am less familiar with.nb
- Maybe that didn't make sense. I'm saying, I know where I'd go for interesting travel. I want some scenic cheap resorts for the winter.nb
