Thought it was interesting that the Tea Party booed Ron Paul when he tried to talk about the causes of 9/11 and cheered Rick Santorum when he gave that overly simplistic, jingoistic answer about hating us for our freedoms.

The idea that terrorists would come over here and bomb us just because they don't like the way women dress or the kind of movies we make is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

What exactly is the difference between the Tea Party and George Bush? They still support militaristic foreign policy and American imperialism. Tea Party is often presented as something new but really they are just slightly more crazy Republicans from the Bush era.

    • Tea party wants military for self protection, bushs military was for corporations.

    • Ron Paul was booed because he won't or wouldn't protect israel.
      ********
    • Let Israel defend itself. It's been 60 years. Free market, bitch!DrBombay
