    93 processes is ridiculous.

    Go to start > run > and type 'msconfig'

    Go to the start up tab and uncheck a lot of that shit.
    If have 3 boxes checked fyi. Adobe stuff and my graphics drivers.

    You could probably uncheck them all and be fine, but it might cause problems. Stuff like printing drivers and adobe authentication (called service manager iirc).

    Just uncheck them all then go through them again and tick the important ones. Restart your machine and check all is ok, if something doesn't work, go back into the startup tab and tick the appropriate box.

    You could also check out the services tab in msconfig, but I wouldn't bother for now, you can mess stuff up with that if your not careful.
