I ran into this issue when working with my t-shirt site. The red background colour never matching the Gif on top of it. Here's how I fixed/solved the issue:
- Get your image ready as normal in Photoshop.
- Then do a save for web.
- I was saving a GIF and using the dropper I selected the colour that was giving me issues (I just selected a pixel on the very edge of the image).
- This highlighted the offending colour in the colour swatches to the right.
- Double click the colour swatch and now you can manually enter a hex value for it.
- Save it out and the Gif should be perfect.- You can also fix any other colours that don't quite look right using this technique.Centigrade
