Mama's Fish House, soooooo good. The best snorkeling is in Molokini crater and down south in la Perouse Bay next to the lava flows.
Lots of cheap eateries in Kihei, and just south of there in Wailea there's polo beach and big beach that are pretty awesome, less busy and lots of turtles/snorkeling... actually a lot of boat trips from the NW resorts go there =)
