    The thing with headhunters/recruitment agencies is their staff are sales-driven. In other words, they get paid by employers for placing candidates.

    The vast majority – without naming a well-known multi-national agency, for example – will try to place you in a job you don't want, no matter how much you tell them what you DO want.

    Approaching employers directly after doing research is always the better option.
