  I just watched a documentary last night about this,

  ... and pre-cognition and "morphic fields". Also I saw another documentary about a scientist working for Bell Laboratories who started doing research in his spare time on mindful intention and its effects on randomality, basically if people simply thinking can actually reduce the randomality of a machine generating random numbers. He was getting consistent positive results that suggested it was actually working and was subsequently hired by the CIA do more research. He said they are trying to figure out ways of technologically inducing and amplifying psychic abilities in people.
