I fucking hate these dweebs. I've been a metalhead going on 27 years now. Metalheads were never hipsters. Ever. We're like the exact opposite. We don't do irony. We're so fucking earnest and clueless we're kinda lovable. And now...now...these hipsters are getting all up in my metal. Got into an argument with some skinny jean, single gear riding civil war era moustache douche about metal. He said to me "The problem with metalheads is that they don;t apreciate the sonic density of the music they create. Alot of newer bands are sonically dense and experimental beyond the party and satan outlook. They're deeper. It's real metal in a Jungian way."

I mean look at this list at soem hipster site about the "Best Metal Albums of 2011". Go ahead look at it:

Fucking unlistenable crap. It's third rate Sonic Youth with upside down cross graphics and artful watercolor skulls being called "real metal" by people who thought some weepy sweater band playing big band arrangements of Edith Piaf songs on circus calliopes last year was some how cool. Or some shit.
