Whatever, I look forward to the remake. I've seen Oldboy many times and don't care to see it again, so it will be fun. Plus the original will find a new, wider audience. It's a win win.
One more thing - Asians remake American films as well, with far worse results than their Hollywood counterparts. So you fanboys that are jizzing yourselves at the opportunity to spew misguided antiamerican vitriol might want to learn a bit about the industry before you run your mouth.
I dunno, maybe this is the wrong forum for this type of discussion. Do any of you even work in the industry?
