Being a web designer is not glamourous. It's more a question of where you work and how much you make, or how goood of a shmoozer you are.
I did get to drive on a bus from SF to LA with 2 penthouse pets....and spent some time at a photo shoot with some Playboy Playmates... It was fun.. but not glamourous. Sometimes I get to stay at some plush LA hotels.. but its all about who you are..glamour is smoke and mirrors.
