If you're not trying to stay at Hostels, you might want to look into subletting or house swapping your living space. I sublet or house swap since I'm traveling pretty much all the time and I've never been disappointed. It saves an incredible amount of money if you're either not paying for the place you're staying or someone else is paying your rent. When I house swap and I'm traveling all over, I pick to swap with a place thats most central to all the places I want to go. It's still a place you can use as your launching spot, fly in an out of, or come back to, or receive packages at. And, you'll have someone to water the plants and collect the mail at your place while you're gone.

- I've always been able to send a family member or friend to meet the people and see the place. All are artists like us.shellie
- I'd say the places are kinda awesome & they'd want theirs to be kept just as nice as mine. in that way swaps are better than subletshellie
