Nah, it's the same problem with photographers. Some have smoking sites, most have their best friend do it. I've done a ton of work for photographer friends over the years and am always hammering into their heads the fact that their clients are art directors and designers. Make it clean, classy, minimal and devoid of any style that will offend said prospects.
The clients for the DPs are agency buyers or Hollywood directors. They ignore the packaging and concentrate on the reels. But even my budddy, shooting a giant blockbuster at the moment (they're predicting it wlll break all budget records) has to fight for work. The right site will make it easier. Thanks for the links, I'll check them out.
