    J.Crew is good place to quickly find off-the-rack, trendy, summer suits, IMO.

    But if you're seriously talking about one suit that will last for years and stay classic in styling, I'd recommend going to a place like Brooks Brothers and investing in a made-to-measure suit. You can pick your cut, fabrics, details. And the quality and most importantly, the fit, will be 10x better than JCrew or Banana Republic.

    And yes, stick with dark gray or dark navy. Black is for government agents, funerals, and formal evening parties.
