If you just turn on MAC filtering that should make it hard enough and force evil geeks to just keep driving.
Its possible to spoof a mac address but its not worth it for most people.
BTW a MAC address is like a serial # for your wifi card. If you tell your router to only communicate w/ your laptop it wont let others on your network.
