The phrase "Out of sorts", meaning to be feeling ill or under the weather, actually originates from typography.
For those who don't recognise the terminology. A 'sort' is a piece of metal with a character on it, which a typesetter would use when creating a line. If you ran out of a letter then this would be a big problem, you would be 'out of sorts'...
