    It's actually pretty shut and dry....14th Amendment says any child born in the U.S. is a natural born citizen.

    No idea why you would claim "both the left and the right skew the facts." There was never a controversy to begin with, aside from a small group of people, who like you said are probably motivated by racism, spreading conspiracy theories.
