I dont' know Andrew.. it has come to the point of what you need out of the phone..
I would buy Atrix now because i'm infatuated by the whole converts into a laptop thing with dock. But I've heard their Atrix software is abit buggy for that.. I mean it might get fixed but I don't know.
It's a fantastic phone though..
RIght now there are 2 phones I would actually wait for..
One is LG Optimus 3D and the other one is the new Samsung Galaxy S II.. Samsung Galaxy S II would probably be Nexus S type of phone but with dual core and all that magic..so much better performing phone.
HTC Thunderbolt is sick as well (only Verizon). HTC Inspire 4G is a good phone but lacks front camera. SO if you want to chat on Skype or something you won't be able to.
So I really can't say which is best for you.. if you tell me what your needs are (do you want to use it for development or not, do you want to play with it with mods and stuff etc)..
From hardware manufacturer standpoint my preference in phone manufacturers is:
1. HTC
2. Motorola
3. SamsungI don't have enough experience with LG but I've heard good things about them recently.
