my band was supposed to play a gig last night. but the building next to the venue was on fire and the whole street was shut down. When we reconvened a few blocks away at a diner to discuss the situation, someone smashed out car windows and stole half of our gear (some of which was vintage and not easy to replace), as well as my digital camera. Even though the street was crawling with cops / firemen and pedestrians. really pissed right now and kicking self.
