The really amazing thing is the timing from product launch to upgrade.
They launched the first ipad 10 months ago, marking new territory. All of their rivals start working like crazy to match the original ipad, to compete with this new product. All of their efforts are pointed at the first of breed, new to the market iPad. The rivals begin to launch the competitors to the iPad 1.
Apple releases iPad 2. Not that big a difference, but enough of a difference that COMPLETELY overshadows the competition, who modeled their new product on iPad 1.
They own the market right off the bat, and as soon as there is any type of competition they release an upgrade.
Personally, I own an ipad [free from work] and do not use it that much.

- There's not much difference. There's a lot of hype.lukus_W2
- I would think they basically designed iPad 1 & 2 together with the timelines planned form day 1.ETM
- and the competition were there already is the point. they didn't invent the wheel they were just louder about it********
