what are you shooting? Do you have control over timing and environment? Can you ask people to do things again and again?
I've shot a couple of music videos on 5D mark II as well as some clips for web ads, it's great as long as you control the situation. the Marshal monitor made focussing much easier. If you've ever shot a Bolex, you'll find DSLR video seems closer to a Bolex than to a normal "camcorder"
Documentary style Run and Gun events? A 5D mark II would be not so fun for that...
