    Yep refurbs generally come in plain boxes, presumably to make it harder for you to resell as a new unwanted gift or whatever. Refurbs are always good. The only thing to really look out for is the lifecycle of the bundled software. You don't want to buy a mac only for them to turn around and release a new OS the following week, or the iLife suite.

    • anything "update" related will always be an issue, specially with macs, no matter what you buyMiguex
    • there's always something new right about to come out. ALWAYS whatever you buy, will only be new for 3 weeksMiguex
    • The OS is the biggie. And usually the release date is common knowledge.Centigrade
