I've never owned a Mac, but of all my friends that have bought refurbs, none have had problems, and I know about 5 or 6 people that have had problems with new ones.
A refurb ensures that it has been checked working. Refurbs are typically taken care of more as they can;t fall back on selective checking as an excuse.
They also come with the same warranty, right?
- same warranty. and you're right they get checked as operable. new ones i don't imagine get tested.brandelec
